Today I travelled down to New York City with the family to see a Mets game.

It's time to come to terms with a long standing problem of mine.

Sometimes I see something so odd it brings me to a complete stop.

There's nothing like a huge downpour and raging rivers of water running through your front yard to put a damper on a day.

Earlier today I was sitting on the toilet, looking at a recent issue of Newsweek.  It had Michelle Obama on the cover.  And for some reason I'd rather not psycho-analyze, it started me wondering about the sex lives of the Presidents.

Regular readers know I'm something of an Oscar nut who revels in the more awful parts of the annual awards show.  Usually I go into a big breakdown of the whole thing guaranteed to make the average person's eyes glaze over.  Luckily for you, I don't feel that anal this year.

So on Saturday we were taking the kids to see a hockey game. As we're heading out the door, my wife insists I grab the camera. The point was lost on me as I took a ton of pictures the last time we went to a hockey game. The lesson learned from the evening was, listen to my wife.

If someone can figure out where my heart is at the moment, I'd like it back.
