Smallville: Episode 2.20, "Witness"

I've come up with a theory as to why Clark Kent is such a moron. When it gets right down to it, what teaches best? One word, pain. Nothing instills knowledge faster and more efficiently. If you get hit by a car and survive, odds are you'll damn sure look both ways before crossing the street next time. Clark, however, is pretty much invulnerable and has been for most of his life. He doesn't really feel pain, heat, or cold. Therefore, he's probably destined to be the greatest idiot of all time. He's relied solely on his strength and invulnerability to get him out of most scrapes. Take those options away, and he's pretty much worthless. Until tonight, at least.
